Who we are
This site contains information for two interlinked business.
Sea Eagle Publications: originally published a range of business and professional development books. It has now expanded to include an increasing range of:
- training resources for Business Services and Health which are available as pre-printed class sets
- professional development books for RTOs and Trainers
- resources to support compliance (note that this is under revision to the new standards).
Sea Eagle Training: originally the name of our Registered Training Organisation but now reserved only for the consultancy and corporate professional development services we offer.
Due to a number of factors, including wanting more time to devote to our primary business of resource development, we are only offering the restricted services listed below:
- provision of templates and advice for specific purposes, such as documents to accompany an addition to scope or general RTO management enquiries
- professional development services for RTOs and corporate clients.
The RTO function of Sea Eagle Training became a separate enterprise with its own domain, Healthy Business Training Academy, and which offers nationally recognised training in:
- Business from Certificate III to Diploma
- Health Administration and Practice Management (in association with AHPT Solutions)
- Training and Assessment: Certificate IV and both Diplomas (with full range of electives)
- Skills sets: one or more Units from any of our qualifications on Scope taken as short courses
Pricing policies, terms and conditions of payment and other changes We have not increased our prices for five years in order to remain competitive. However, in order to enable us to provide a good service, we must consider a moderate price rise in some products to cover the cost of binding or the rising costs of consumables. We are reviewing all our product pricing and some may actually be reduced when our new costing formulae are worked out. In addition, for those customers placing a large order and not paying in advance via depost and through MYOB Ezy Bill pay, we must ask for a deposit of at least 50% of the order to cover the consumables. This has been necessitated because some of our clients want the resources yesterday but take several months to pay 14 day invoices, making it difficult for us to ensure that we can service other orders. We value all our customers, and appreciate that different TAFE systems have different payment policies. If you are placing a large order from TAFE, you need to provide a purchase order and ensure that we are placed on the payment services supplier list or it could be six months or more before we get paid for our hard work on your behalf. |

It has been brought to my attention that a person purporting to be working for SE Training has been issuing fraudulent Statements of Attainment for SITX0HS002A and SITXFS001A (both food safety units that have never been on the RTO scope). These statements were issued in 2012. Sea Eagle Training ceased to be an RTO in 2004. The statements are signed by a third party and only I am authorised to sign qualifications on behalf of the RTO which is now HBTA. The Statements are issued on cheap paper that can be purchased in any stationers, not our marbled green card which is embossed with the HBTA logo and laminated. The fraudulent qualifications show the Sea Eagle cameo illustration. If you come across one of these Statements of Attainment, please be aware that they are easily identified as frauds.
